batman asked: I had never had any credit for about 23 years until i got a credit card. I started to buy things with the card and after a while in about 2 months I maxed out the card. The card was a Plantium Capital One credit card with about an 21.99% APR. Anyway after I maxed it out I started to pay on it but I was over the limit for about 3-5 months I think. It took me about a year and an half to completely pay it off. I did cut up the card and got rid of it asap. The last time/first time that I heard of my credit score was somewhere in above the 600 mark. Tonight (2-27-07) I wanted to check on it because of recent attempts (by me) to get finiching (bad spelling, sorry) for a particular item either by the web or the local area.
Please help, me?

You can use it yearly to check all 3 major credit companies. Totally completely free!! You don’t even need to sign up for any thing.
This is the only agency authorized by the federal gov’t for free credit reports. They are truly free.
