Sorry. All the FREE CREDIT SCORE ads I’v ever seen come with a catch. You must sign up for credit monitoring, and it ain’t free. THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH AFTER MOM QUITS MAKING IT.
did the credit report come with the score if they said it did then usually the score should be on the front page of the report if not did they ask you a separate question that if you want your free score and you didn’t catch it that’s what happened to me
Sorry but you must pay for your score. The formula used to arrive at a score is patented and the company owning the patent wants to be paid
In the United States, there are three main credit reporting companies they are Equifax, Experian and Trans Union.
They are strictly monitored by the Federal Government and are required to maintain fair, true and correct information about you.
Each of the companies is required under law to provide one free credit report to you each year. That means you can actually get three free reports every year (one from each company)..
Your credit report contains a lot of information about you, including your current address, previous addresses, your financial history – including bankruptcies and a rating by each credit card company as to how you paid your bill (i.e. whether it was on time, 1 month late, 2 months late, etc.) – and whether or not you have been in any lawsuits……..
